Sagnarigu lawmaker Alhassan Bashir Fuseini popularly known as Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini has said he was very fair and objective while practicing as a journalist with the state-owned Daily Graphic before becoming a legislator.

While at Daily Graphic, he said, his identity as a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was known to everyone.

However, he added that he remained professional and exhibited all the ethics of the profession which include fairness and objectivity.

Speaking in an interview with Johnnie Hughes on the Subrise Show on 3FM Monday, May 29, Mr ABA Fusei who recently lost his bid to be the parliamentary candidate again for the NDC in Sagnarigu said “My NDC credentials were never hidden when I was in Graphic.

“It was very clear that I was an NDC person through and through but what I did was that I always made sure that notwithstanding my political position, I functioned as a professional.

When I was doing my job as a journalist I endeavored to be very fair balance and objectives in the work that I carried out.

“For instance, Mr Dan Botwe who was the NPP’s General Secretary at that time, if he had any news to break out he would give it to me first because he had confidence he had in me notwithstanding my political credentials.”
