Former President John Dramani Mahama has indicated that his administration had a lot of successes in terms of development.

However, he said, Ghanaians did not see because his party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC)  and administration did not tell the success stories well.

He said they assumed that Ghanains would automatically see the projects he did.

Mr Mahama has promised that if the NDC gets the chance to be in government again, they will do well in drumming home their achievements.

Speaking at the Chatham House on Friday, January 27, he said “When President Akufo-Addo came we had achieved economic stability. All they needed was to continue from there but unfortunately, this is where they have led us to.”

He stressed “We were not forceful in letting the people see what we have done we assumed they will see it. We did quite a lot,” he said.

He added that “maybe next if we get the chance, our leaders should make it a point to let the people know what we have done.”

His address was on the theme “Africa’s Strategic Priorities & Global Role”.
