National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer hopeful Dr Kwabena Duffuor has changed the date for the submission of his nomination forms from Wednesday, March 22 to Thursday, March 23.

“The change in date from Wednesday to Thursday is in response to a request from the
National Executive of the party to reschedule, due to the party’s True State of the
Nation Address to be delivered by the Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketia today,
Monday at the UPSA auditorium at 2pm,” a press release from the camp of the former Finance Minister said on Monday, March 20.

Officials of the Duffuor campaign team are expected to make an appearance at the programme.

Dr Duffuor is one of four party members who picked forms to contest the May 13 Presidential Primaries.

The nomination forms were picked on his behalf by Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser, Gloria Huze, on Thursday, February 23.

He is seen as the leading aspirant to give former President John Dramani Mahama a run for his money.

The former Central Bank Governor’s Ahotor Project has caught on well with grassroots of the party.
