Deputy Minority Leader Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah has expressed optimism that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Assin North by-election James Gyakye Quayson will win.
The Ellembelle lawmaker told TV3 reporters in Assin North in the ongoing by-election on Tuesday June 27 that his assessment so far has indicated that the voters are willing to vote for Gyakye Quayson.
“I think that if you look at the exit interviews it is very clear that they are determined to make sure that the people of Ghana will hear their voice.
“They are going to deliver the judgment today and the judgment will be very clear that Gyakye Quayson was not wrongly voted for, they are going to send that message again today,” he said.
Polls started at 7AM and are expected to end at 5PM.
