Akufo-Addo has returned to renting $18,000 an hour executive jet – Ablakwa

North Tongu Member of Parliament Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has said President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has returned to renting US$18,000 an hour ultra-luxury executive jet for his trip to the United States (US) and London.

He said so far, Mr Akufo-Addo has accumulated a bill of US$465,000, in Cedi equivalent ¢3.5million, for his current US & UK trip.

Mr Akufo-Addo left Ghana on Thursday, 31st March 2022, for Charlotte, North Carolina, in United States of America, and for London in the United Kingdom.

This was at tt the invitation of Bishop T.D. Jakes, President Akufo-Addo. He delivered the keynote address at this years International Leadership Summit, on Friday, 1st April 2022.

The last trip he embarked on before this one, to the Dubai for the Dubai EXPO, the President flew commercial, attracting commendation from My Ablakwa.

But in a tweet on Sunday April 3, the opposition lawmaker said in relation to the current trip of the President that “President Akufo-Addo returns to renting his favourite ostentatious US$18,000 an hour ultra-luxury executive jet, few hours after signing the obnoxious and unconstitutional E-Levy. So far, for his current US & UK trip, he has accumulated a bill of US$465,000 = (GHS3.5million).”
