The Ghana Police Hospital says it will embark on a mass burial in the next 21 days in an effort to decongest the Hospital’s mortuary.

The burial will involve 150 unknown and unclaimed bodies, a statement dated Monday, January 8 said.

The public has therefore been urged to contact the Pathology Department of the Hospital “for identification of persons who might have not been seen for some time now”.

According to the statement signed by ASP Yaw Nketia-Yeboah, the Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, those not identified will be added to the 150 earmarked for the mass burial.
