A center has been mounted in each of the 275 constituencies of Ghana for the Special Voting exercise ongoing across the country.
Election officials, security personnel as well as media personnel are voting today, Tuesday, December 1 in order to free them up for official duties on election day, Monday, December 7.
A total of 109,557 persons are expected to vote in the exercise.
At Asawase Constituency, our reporter Ibrahim Abubakar reports that the exercise has been smooth so far with voters taking within 2 to 3 minutes to complete voting.
At Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa Constituency, the exercise has proceeded without hitches.
At the Cape Coast South Constituency, our reporter Thomas Cann sent pictures indicating a smooth take-off of the exercise.
But there have been reported cases of missing names at some constituencies.
The Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC) assured that journalists with accreditation can vote with their proofs while provision is made for security officers who are not able to vote to do so on Monday.
