Apparently tired of complaining about bad roads across the country, especially those within the cities, some Ghanaians have initiated what could be termed a subtle protest to get authorities to fix the roads with dispatch. Photos of plantain trees planted in potholes in the middle of unknown streets in a part of the country went viral on social media Thursday morning with some people sarcastically tagging it as a part of government’s Planting for Food and Jobs programme.
