[Photos] NPP National Delegates’ Conference: The security situation

The ongoing National Delegates’ Conference of the ruling New Patriotic Party at the Koforidua Technical University has seen high security presence. 

Eastern Regional Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Police Service, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh had said on Onua FM Thursday, July 5, that measures were being put in place to ensure peace.

He indicated 1000 police personnel  drawn from four regions, the Eastern, Greater Accra, Volta and Central  would be deployed to maintain law and order in Koforidua from Friday July 7 to Sunday July 8, 2018.

3news.com’ observation on the ground reveals a combination of Police personnel and  the party’s own security groups: Invincible forces and delta forces are on the ground.
