As the country goes to the polls this year, the entire country, especially politicians, are fixated on the election referee – the Electoral Commission!

Ghanaians at voting age, 18, will cast their ballot on November 7 to elect their Members of Parliament for the 275 Constituencies across the country and the President under the Seventh Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

But one may ask why the EC has become the center of attraction? It is all because some stakeholders in the electoral process do not understand the mandate of the EC while others, even though, understand the EC, would want to push the EC to do what may suit them.

From the call for a new voter’s register to validation of voters and now the new logo saga keeping the EC in the limelight for various reasons.

Join us on Onua 95.1FM as Yen Sempa, the morning show engages a Deputy Chairperson for the EC, Madam Georgina Amankwaa, as she takes us through the laws that backs the EC on its activities.

Your regular host, Kwame karikari would ask the questions bothering on the laws, dos and don’ts on the impending elections and Ghanaians should expect from the EC.
