Two communicators of the two major political parties, National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the Northern Region Thursday morning turned the studios of North Star Radio into a boxing ring.

The two namely Mahama Zakaria and Fredrick Tahiru went out of control during North Star Radio’s morning show after NDC’s Mahama Zakaria called NPP’s Tahiru an extremist.

The tag did not go down well with the NPP activist, who pounced on Mahama right in the studio when the show was still ongoing, according to show host Abubakari Sadiq Sulemana.

The two were separated after the fisticuffs but Tahiru managed to bite Mahama at the cheek.

The victim, who later felt dizzy, was rushed to the KABSAD Hospital for treatment.

The incident, according to the show host, has not been reported to the police yet.
