NPP Conference: Media General pitch camp at KTU for comprehensive coverage

Transmission will be across MG Radio – 3FM, Onua FM, Connect FM & Akoma FM[/caption] A crack team made up of journalists of Media General has pitched camp at the Koforidua Technical University in the Eastern Region for the 2018 National Delegates’ Conference of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Made up of staff from TV3, 3FM, Onua FM and 3news.com, the team is expected to give a comprehensive nationwide coverage from the grounds from Friday till Sunday, when a thanksgiving service will be held at the International Central Gospel Church, Jesus Temple in Koforidua. The coverage will also be on Takoradi-based Connect FM 97.1 and Kumasi-based Akoma FM. Over 6,000 delegates are expected to congregate at the venue to elect national executives for the ruling party for the next four years. The conference starts on Friday with Muslim Jummah prayers at the Koforidua Central Mosque. The conference proper – which will involve reading of reports and delivery of solidarity messages amidst last-minute campaigns from the aspirants – will be on Saturday. Former Leader of the NPP John Agyekum Kufuor, who clinched the party’s first national elections in 2000, as well as President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will also address delegates.
