The decision was taken after a crunch meeting was held Saturday morning following complaints by one of the aspirants, Sam George, that names of about 4,000 supporters are not in the register.
He also complained his name was not in the register.
The meeting involved law enforcement agencies and the electoral officers in the presence of some of the aspirants.
Conspicuously missing was incumbent Member of Parliament Enoch Teye Mensah, who has been accused by the young challenger of doctoring the register.
