The name of an executive of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been found in the register of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency.
Elvis-Figo Awonekai, NPP’s Communications Director in the Constituency, said his attention had been drawn to the presence of his name in the register during the exhibition but not a formal protest has seen his name removed from the roll.
He has, therefore, threatened to take legal action against the ruling party if immediate steps are not taken to remove his name from the register.
NDC is voting on Saturday across the country to elect a presidential candidate and parliamentary representatives for the 2016 elections.
