An old woman who was reported missing at Anaji Brigade in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis  of the Western Region has been found dead with some body parts removed. The naked body of the 77-year-old retired telephonist, Theresa Otoo, was discovered Thursday, January 2, 2020, nine days after her family reported to the police that she was missing. The body was found lying close to a drain at about 10:00am, about five hundred meters from where she lived. It was a sad moment for the people in the neighbourhood as they  wept uncontrollably. Family members were immediately informed and they in turn reported the case to the police. The deceased was said to be suffering from dementia, a medical condition that leads to memory loss. Some neighbours who spoke with Connect FM’s OMANBAPA morning show host Nhyiraba Paa Kwesi Simpson said they suspect the victim might have been killed for rituals. “This is unquestionable; she was monitored by some guys who knew her condition and killed her for rituals, it is straight forward, ” one neighbour who spoke on condition of anonymity concluded. The body has since been conveyed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Morgue for autopsy while investigation has commenced By 3news.com|Ghana]]>
