The Management of the Ghana Airport Company Limited has said investigations have been commenced into the emergence of a strange bag at the terminal 3 at the Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday December 28.
A statement issued on Wednesday December 29 said the management “can confirm that on Tuesday December 28 at around 9M an unattended bag was sighted at the arrival hall of Terminal 3, at the Kotoka International Airport .
“The Base Ammunition Depot Unit of the Ghana Armed Forces was immediately brought in to conduct preliminary assessment of the bag and its content. The bag was subsequently taken away for further investigations , the outcome of which will be made public.”
