Media General’s Asempa hosts maiden Kofi Annan Global Legacy Summit

Bright Kwasi Asempa is the reigning RTP best morning show host[/caption] The Head of Onua TV and Onua FM, subsidiaries of a leading media conglomerate, Media General (MG), Bright Kwasi Asempa, has been selected to host the maiden edition of the Kofi Annan Global Legacy Summit 2019. The award-winning Morning Show host for Onua FM 95. 1, Yen Sempa, will moderate the three-day event scheduled to start Monday, August 19, to Wednesday, August 21, at the RS Amegashie Auditorium of the University of Ghana Business School, Legon, in Accra. The Kofi Annan Global Legacy Summit 2019 which is under the theme: “Blueprint Celebration of Excellence”, is an initiative to honour the late UN Secretary General, Kofi Anna, who passed las year 18 August. The summit also forms part of the home coming of Africans in the Diaspora, global representation of countries, diplomatic missions, global institutions, heads of state and the United Nations and other relevant stakeholders. Dignitaries expected to grace the summit include President Akufo-Addo, Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Okyehene, Osagyefo Omotia Ofori Panin II, Osu Mantse and President of the Osu Traditional Council in the Greater Accra Region, His Royal Majesty Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI. Ghana’s three surviving former heads of state: John Agyekum Kufuor, Jerry John Rawlings and John Dramani Mahama are also expected to grace the event. The rest are the Education Minister, Mathew Opoku Prempeh, Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta and other ministers of state as well as Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives.
