The deceased is said to have assaulted the suspect on Saturday, December 29, 2018. The suspect reported the case to the Community 8 Police Station, where he was issued a medical form to go to the hospital for treatment. On Wednesday, January 2, 2019, Mohammed Tijani and five others attacked the suspect, a mason, and hit his head with a stone, according to the police. He went back to the police and reported and was again issued with a medical form. The deceased incidentally kept on escaping police arrest. On Thursday, January 3, 2019, around 8:30am, the deceased who was holding a knife is alleged to have attacked the suspect, 42, yet again. But this time, Francis Appiah is said to have overpowered the deceased, took the knife and stabbed him. The body of the deceased has since been sent to the Tema General Hospital awaiting autopsy. The suspect is, however, in police custody assisting investigations. This comes barely a week after an Assemblies of God pastor was also stabbed in church in Tema.
