Man arrested for having sex with 3 stepdaughters; impregnates one

Abraham Tetteh after his arrest[/caption] A 37-year-old man in the Central Region has admitted to sexually assaulting his three stepdaughters. Abraham Tetteh had sexual intercourse with the three girls – 16, 18 and 20 years – both in their home and in the bush and ended up impregnating the 16 year-old. He allegedly administered drug to her in a bid to abort the pregnancy. Police at Twifo Damang, near Twifo Praso which confirmed the incident said the man will be prosecuted on charges of incest, abortion and defilement. According to them, upon receipt of the information, they proceeded to Mbaa Mpe Hia No. 2 and arrested the suspect on Tuesday at about 05:00hrs when the elders of the village had met to resolve the matter. He confirmed to committing the act during interrogation, the Police said, adding when they arrived at the village, the elders had met on the issue. Tetteh is now assisting the Police with investigations into the case.
