Long queues have already formed at the Accra International Conference Center, where the much anticipated video on the judicial scandal is billed to be premiered.

Titled Ghana In the Eyes of God: Epic of Injustice, the investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas has ruffled some feathers within the Judicial Service with the Chief Justice, Georgina Theodora Wood, having already suspended 22 circuit court judges and magistrates.

Twelve high court judges also began appearing before an Appeals Court Judge – appointed by the Chief Justice – on Tuesday, September 22 for the determination of a prima facie case against them.

Despite an interlocutory injunction sought on the venue by Justice Uuter Paul Dery, patrons have already converged to have a view of the documentary.

“I am very eager to see what is in the documentary,” said one of the thousands in the queue.

“I can’t wait to see all that has been talked about.”

A number of the patrons in the queue went for the 4:00pm premiere

Another seemingly agitated woman, who gave her name as Nana Otua Owusua I, said she has been a victim of injustice and most of the judges cited in the video have adjudicated her cases before.

“I think that it is disgusting,” she told TV3’s Godfred Tanam.

“Ghana has a lot to answer for,” she said, “and this is the time for Ghana to sit up. All my judges have been caught on tape.”

Anas has since arrived at the venue for the premiere.
