Kasoa: Man secretly buries boy, 5, after he fell in his manhole

Residents of Great Lamptey Mills in Kasoa in the Central Region are in hot rage after a man suspected to have secretly buried a boy of five years after the latter fell in his uncovered pit is being let to walk free. A couple in the area had reported of their missing child, whose name was given as Nana Yaw. But residents said the man was seen pulling a lifeless body from the manhole Monday morning and buried it without the knowledge of anybody. Some residents who spoke on 3FM on Monday morning said even the parents of the boy were not aware of what the man had done. But what angered residents is that after the parents were informed about the incident, they felt reluctant to report the issue to the police as they seek an ‘agreement’ with the man.
