Aspiring General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party, John Boadu, has taken his nationwide tour to the Brong Ahafo Region where he is seeking to justify to the party delegates why he is the best candidate for the job. Prior to the start of his tour Tuesday, Mr. Boadu who is the National Organiser of the NPP joined President Akufo-Addo and some government members to grace the funeral rites of the late Omanhene of Drobo Traditional Area, Beyeeman Bosea Gyinantwi IV in Drobo. Mr. Boadu who is expected to tour all the constituencies in the region explained he would use the opportunity to assess the current state of the party particularly the relationship between party and government in every constituency. He will also interact with the constituency executives together with their MMDCEs with his message of grassroots empowerment and strengthening of party structures for victory 2020 and beyond. This, he said, should be the reason for discerning delegates to give him a 100 per cent endorsement in his quest to becoming the party’s General Secretary, having also amply demonstrated stupendous qualities and proven track record when it comes to delivering results for the party. Mr Boadu’s first visited the Berekum West, Berekum East, Tano South, Tano North and Sunyani East constituencies. He reaffirmed his strong commitment to assisting in the construction of permanent party offices in each of the constituencies he visited, while assuring the executives of plans to adequately resource them to effectively discharge their mandate. On their part, the constituency executives assured John Boadu of their unflinching support and 100% endorsement at the 2018 national annual delegates conference scheduled for June in the eastern regional capital.
