Jane woos voters in Savannah Region

The Vice Presidential Candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has called on the people of the Savannah Region to trust in the credibility of the NDC to deliver on their manifesto promises.

Addressing a charged crowd of party supporters at Kulmasa in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency, Prof Opoku-Agyemang noted that the NDC over the years has proven to be a party that delivers on its promises.

The running mate to John Dramani Mahama is on a two-day tour of the Region.

She was met on arrival at Sawla by queenmothers of Sawla and party faithfuls.

She interacted with queen mothers before moving to Kulmasa, where she interacted with the chiefs and people of that area.

Addressing the crowd, the former Minister of Education assured them the next NDC government will provide better opportunities to their livelihood.

She touched on the manifesto promise on Free Primary Healthcare Programme.

“The NDC is poised on making the lives of Ghanaians better and that will depend on your votes for us to get back to into office.”

She appealed to the teeming supporters to vote massively for the NDC.

The Youth Chairman of Kulmasa who delivered a speech on behalf of the chief of Kulmasa, Alhaji Abdul Kassim, admonished the NDC to be vigilant on December 7.

He expressed gratitude to the running mate for her show of comportment despite several issues since her appointment.
