Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has said that as Ghana ventures into the era of digital technology, it is imperative to harness the collective power and ingenuity of female leaders to move the nation forward.

He said this while celebrating female Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) in Ghana.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) said that female CEOs are reshaping the very fabric of business in Ghana and beyond.

Dr Bawumia said these after serving as a Guest Speaker at the Ghana Female CEO Summit held in Accra on Wednesday, April 17.

The event brought together leaders of female-led businesses, entrepreneurs and innovators.

After the event, Dr Bawumia wrote on is Facebook page that “Women CEOs are not only driving innovation but also reshaping the very fabric of business in Ghana and beyond. As we stand at the precipice of a digital renaissance, it is imperative that we harness the collective power and ingenuity of female leaders to propel our nation forward.

“In this transformative technological era, it is imperative that we recognize the indispensable role of women in driving innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth. By embracing technology and fostering a culture of inclusivity, we can unlock untapped potential and create opportunities for women to thrive in the digital economy.”

He stated that the digital age offers boundless opportunities for those bold enough to seize them.

“Let us harness the power of technology to drive sustainable growth, empower communities, and build a brighter future for all,” he urged.
