Kwame Yogot has expressed his gratitude to Kuami Eugene for unmasking him for fame in the music industry.

Although Kenneth Kyeremanteng, known as Kwame Yogot, has been in showbiz for years, he never had the kind of attention and spotlight collaborating with Kuami Eugene brought him.

After featuring Kwame Eugene on his single, ‘Biibi Besi’, in February 2021, which became one of Ghana’s biggest hits, he shot to fame with thousands of followers.

In an interview with Atinka tv, Kwame Yogot said, “Kuami Eugene really helped promote the song and my name. Even after our track, he still calls me anytime he has a show to perform, and he is trying very hard to let people know the kind of talent I have.”

Although his song with Kwame Eugene was a hit, Kwame Yogot says he still sees himself as a struggling artist.

“When I hear people saying that I have made it in the music industry, I get amazed, because of the level I want to reach, I haven’t seen myself there yet. I see myself not to have made it but rather an upcoming artiste who is struggling to breakthrough in the music space.”

He also revealed that before his song with Kwame Eugene, he worked with some artists like Fameye, Medikal, Yaa Pono, Reggie Rockstone, Samini and even featured Castro on his 3k)yie song.

Kwame Yogot added that he would love to collaborate with Nigerian artist Simi because she is his favourite artiste.
