The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) says it is working hard to restore power supply to some parts of the country affected by a “disturbance” on Monday. The “disturbance” on GRIDCo’s transmission resulted in the loss of supply to consumers in some parts of the country. In a statement issued by its Head of Public Relations, Albert Kwesi Quainoo, GRIDCo said it “is working to restore supply to consumers”. Most parts of Accra were affected but power has since been restored. It is expected that the other parts will enjoy power immediately GRIDCo finishes its work.
