Legon Cities kicked off GPL week 10 with a five star performance against AshGold.

The Royals scored more than a goal for the first time in a game this season. The win saw them climb out of the relegation zone.

The Miners drew first blood but alas they could not hold on to the lead and watched Legon Cities come from a goal down to equalize and eventually win 5-2.

Already, week 10 is serving football fans with a lot of entertainment and hopefully it will end on the same note.

Berekum Chelsea will host Accra Hearts of Oak at the Berekum Golden City Park. It is obviously not the right time for the Birbries to play the Phobians looking at their current form as compared to the Kosta Papic led side.

The Berekum based side will however take inspiration from the fact that Hearts of Oak have struggled recently at the dreaded Berekum Golden City Park. The Phobians have picked just one win in their last five visits to Berekum against Berekum Chelsea.

Despite being a hard nut to crack at home, the story has been the opposite for Karela United in their away trips; they are yet to win a game in four attempts this season.

The league leaders will travel to the Accra Sports Stadium to face Great Olympics who haven’t been consistent at home this season.

Since the arrival of Serbian tactician Vladislav Viric, Dreams FC have had decent results in their last two fixtures; they recorded a win against Dwarfs and a draw against Bechem United at the Nana Fosu Gyeabor Park.

The ‘Still Believers’ will play Liberty Professionals at the Theatre of Dreams; a venue which has been difficult for them to win games at.

Dwarfs will be hoping to correct their wrongs from their loss to Kotoko when they face WAFA in week 10.

The Academy boys are expected to struggle when they make the trip from Sogakope to the Central Region after losing their star striker Daniel Lomotey who has scored 9 goals out of the total 14 WAFA has scored this season to AS Soliman in Tunisia.

The season does not look good for King Faisal, they have struggled in both home and away games, they will play away to Eleven Wonders whose great start to the season keeps fading away by the match weeks.

Elmina Sharks will sit at the Ndoum Sports Complex and welcome Bechem United and the Hunters are likely to taste their second defeat of the season.

Inter Allies will travel to Tarkwa Akoon Park, a venue they have never beaten Medeama SC at since gaining promotion to play in the Ghana Premier League.

The biggest tie in week 10 will come off at the Accra Sports Stadium between Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars.

The Porcupine Warriors will finally return home after trips to Sogakope and Cape Coast to play WAFA and Ebusua Dwarfs respectfully.

Aduana Stars’ away form this season has been poor; they are yet to record a win in four games and haven’t beaten Kotoko away before in the GPL.

The game will be a clear battle between red-hot Kwame Opoku and Yahaya Mohammed who have both been important for their respective clubs this season in terms of goals.
