Karela United maintained their position as league leaders of the Ghana Premier League after sharing spoils with Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, January 23.

The Ayinase based side were hoping to record their first away win of the season when they travelled to the Accra Sports Stadium to play Great Olympics in Week 10 of the Ghana Premier League.

Head coach Evans Addotey threw more men forward in a 4-2-3-1 formation with in form attacker Diawusie Taylor leading the lines for the ‘Pride and Passion boys’

Despite the numerous attacking options, Karela United failed to put the ball at the back of the net.

Olympics with Awako’s creativity failed to make the most of the few chances they created in the game.

At the Berekum Golden City Park, Chelsea’s struggle this season continued as they dropped two vital points at home against Hearts of Oak following a disappointing week 9 display away to Karela United at Ayinase.

The Birbiries on few occasions in the first half came close to scoring with Emmanuel Clottey being denied by Richmond Ayi.

Chelsea have picked a single win in their last five games and currently find themselves 12th on the league log with 10 points after 10 games.
