GPL: Justice Blay's goal stuns Hearts of Oak at Tarkwa, Legon Cities hold Karela

Medeama Sporting Club recorded yet another win against Accra Hearts of Oak in Tarkwa in the Ghana Premier League on Thursday.

Justice Blay’s strike in the second half was enough to sink Hearts.

Kosta Papic made key changes to the side that lost to Great Olympics in the Mantse Derby; Richard Atta replaced Richmond Ayi in the goal poles, Larry Sumaila and Kojo Obeng Junior were all handed a start.

Medeama SC head coach Samuel Boadu also made three changes to the side that lost to Karela United in Week 11; Eric Ofori Antwi, Baba Musah and Eric Kwakwa were all handed a start.

The Yellow and Mauves came close infront of goal in the first half failed to score only for Blay to tap in a Bright Enchill low cross minutes later.

Hearts have now lost consecutive games under Papic for the first time this season.

Elsewhere in Accra, league leaders Karela United were held to a goalless game by Legon Cities.

Karela are yet to record an away win this season.
