Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was the reviewing officer at the 52nd Cadet Officers’ Graduation Parade of the Ghana Police Service at the Ghana Police Academy, Tesano, Accra.
During the exercise on Wednesday, he charged the men and women of the Ghana Police Service to live above reproach.
He also asked them to constantly review and renew the tenets and practices of keeping the peace, and foster closer police-civilian relations.
Dr Bawumia assured them that the “Government shall continue to resource the Police Service to enable it continue to play its constitutional role of maintaining law and order for all citizens to go about their businesses without let or hindrance.”
He also congratulated all the graduands and asked them to “go and make Ghana proud with your service.”
