The convoy of the Minister of Children, Gender and Social Protection has been involved in an accident in the Northern Region, TV3 can confirm.
No casualties were recorded, reports say, but two cars in the Minister’s convoy were crashed.
The team led by sector minister Nana Oye Lithur was on its way to Ghani in the Yendi municipality on Thursday when the accident occurred.

Another vehicle in the Minister’s convoy later knocked down a young boy, TV3 gathers.
The team was headed to the Ghani Witchcamp, where old women have been abandoned for perceptions that they are involved in witchcraft.
