Members of the Gas Tanker Drivers and Petrol Tanker Unions have served notice to embark on sit down strike starting Monday August 1.
This is due to the poor condition of service they are going through, the drivers said.
A statement they issued indicated that they are not paid salaries and even when salaries are paid, the monies are meagre and incommensurate with the workload.
The statement added that they have made their grievances known to authorities but no action has been taken.
