Mr Awuah-Darko accuses Mr Agyapong of expressing defamatory statements about him on two Accra-based radio stations – Asempa FM and Oman FM. He is, therefore, citing owners of those two radio stations in his suit filed on Wednesday. The plaintiff explains that last Thursday, the Assin Central Member of Parliament was on Asempa FM’s Ekosii S3n show, accusing him financial misappropriations while at BOST. He later went on Oman FM same day on Boiling Point, Mr Awuah-Darko explained in his writ, to repeat the allegations. The former BOST boss said the defamatory remarks were passed “with malice and with the sole intent of reducing him in the estimation of all right-thinking members of society as a corrupt and dishonest former public official”. He is, therefore, seeking damages to the tune of GH¢5 million. Source: 3news.com|Ghana ]]>
