Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Franklin Fifi Kwetey, has been re-elected to contest the 2016 parliamentary polls in the constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.

In a landslide victory Tuesday, Mr. Kwetey garnered 14,610 votes [representing 86.13 per cent of votes cast] and his closest contender, Sylvanus Amedorme, polled 1,375 votes [8.11%] while Kwesi Kuadugah secured only 637 votes [3.76%].

A total of 16,622 votes were cast in the Tuesday’s primaries in the constituency, which was delayed due to a legal tussle over the election in the constituency.

Of the votes, 340 were rejected.
