Ksi: Family of six perished in flood waters; two lives lost in Bulsa North [update]

A family of six perished at Esereso Adagya in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region when they were washed away by flood waters. The victims were trapped in a saloon car that was carried away by the rapid flood. All the six were members of Jehovah Witnesses who had closed from working on a church building and were returning home. They included a man, his wife, two children and two other relatives. The bodies have been retrieved and deposited at the morgue. Meanwhile, the death toll in the aftermath of the Bagre Dam spillage within a week has reached three. Two persons have been confirmed dead at Sinisi, a farming community in the Bulsa North District in the Upper East region when they got drown in the Jaansa river. The sad incident occurred on Thursday at about 2pm when the two men tried to cross the flooded area. Only one body has been found as at 12 noon on Friday. It would be recalled that one person died in the Walewale district of the Northern region when heavy rains compounded the havoc being caused by the Bagre dam spillage.
