Ghana is set to host the ‘I have a vision (IHAV) Project Conference 2019’ aimed at tackling issues with the standard and quality of education in Africa. The four-day conference takes off July 24-27, 2019 at the University of Ghana. It brings together 100 participants from 20 African countries to deliberate on the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4; elaborating on the impact of quality education, as well at the development requirement to ensure the attainment of this goal. In a statement signed by Media Relations Officer Sabtiya Wahab Abubakar, IHAV noted that the aim of the conference is to bring together youth from all over the African continent to connect and share ideas that go further to increase learning and knowledge acquisition. β€œIt also tends to break cultural and political barriers through teamwork and regional collaborations to tackle issues that are common to our communities and region with respect to quality education,” part of the statement read. The Media Relations Officer noted that the conference will give participants a better understanding of global goals regarding quality education and the role they can play in achieving them with emphasis on Africa and increase interest of active engagement in current economic and continental issues connected to affecting quality education. IHAV is non-governmental foundation based in 10 nations in Africa and Asia, and employs entrepreneurship to nurture the African youth by inspiring them to take up leadership roles. These empowering activities seek to channel the output of these youth in accomplishing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their respective countries in Africa and Asia. Since its inception in 2013, IHAV has held similar conferences to focus on the various sustainable development goals (SDGs). By Paul Selorm Agbo|3news.com|Ghana]]>
