Like the imposing statue of “Christ The Redeemer”, Rio de Janeiro, Okuapeman Senior High School stood tall over the Academy of Christ The King.
Okuapeman SHS were simply impenetrable when they faced Academy of Christ The King in Senior Sharks 7, First Round.
While Okuapeman SHS were bagging positive scores at the end of each round, Academy of Christ The King were piling up debit scores round after round.
The mountaineers won every Round, except the Final Round, by which time the contest had been done and dusted. On the face of the final score, Academy of Christ The King, Cape Coast, did not mount a significant opposition as Okuapeman had met in their Senior Sharks endeavors.
However, a different set of facts emerges when a deeper diagnosis of Okuass’ scores is done, to which serious attention must be given.
Despite the loss, it is also noteworthy that Academy of Christ The King made very good scores in the One-on-one Round.
In the meantime, Okuapeman SHS (Okuass) will enjoy their victory while it lasts.
Right Corner Round
It was Academy of The King who were the first to make their social literacy prowess known.
They were completely powerless and couldn’t bag a single point. Okuapeman SHS knows the ins-and-outs of the Senior Sharks Quiz, and relied on that extensive familiarity to end the round with thirty points.
R Cubed Round
Academy of Christ The King faced their lowest moments in this contest in the R Cubed Round.
Neither in the writing, reading, nor arithmetic segments did anything go according to plan.
Academy of Christ The King had minus thirty (-30) points at the end of the Round, with Okuapeman SHS doing just about enough to end the Round with twenty (20) points.
STEM Round
The poor run of Academy of Christ the King continued quite sadly.
Their only attempt at unpacking the riddles in this round was met with an incorrect answer.
Okuass on the other hand attempted two riddles with one on point and one-off target. Thus Academy of Christ The King ended the round with negative five points as Okuapeman SHS took five points.
One-on-one Round
Points in this round were of no consequence to the final results- all the eighty (80) points to Academy of Christ The King will still not give them victory.
Regardless, Felicity met Lawrencia as English experts for Academy of Christ The King and Okuapeman SHS respectively. Zero points accompanied them.
Malik and Fianko showed up as experts for Academy of Christ the King and Okuapeman SHS respectively.
Fianko rubbed salt in the wounds of Academy of Christ The King when he hit the correct answer on the first question. That was all.
Anthony and Jeremiah came forth as Science specialists for Academy of Christ The King and Okuass respectively.
Anthony bagged ten (10) points on the second clue for Christ The King-
Raymond and Richard were Social Literacy experts for Academy of Christ The King and Okuapeman SHS respectively.
