Personnel of the National Service Scheme and Youth in Afforestation can now receive SMS alerts regarding their allowances starting April this year. The service, which is covering personnel currently paid through E- Zwich services, will reduce the stress many of them go through in getting firsthand information regarding their allowances. Allawadrop GH, the company which is poised to provide the service, has indicated its willingness to provide efficient services to subscribers. Founder and Chief Executive Officer Akane Adams, who is also the National Treasurer for the People’s National Convention (PNC), insists the company has come to solve a specific need of prospective subscribers. “The need the company is going to solve is that when beneficiaries receive their monthly allowances onto their E-Zwich accounts or cards, they will receive an instant text message from Allawadrop Gh, creating the awareness and giving the instant information that the allowance for that particular month has been paid, and when that is done beneficiaries will now have pre-information on their allowances before they go to the bank, in order not to go and waste time there.” He assured that the service will be running for free in 90 days and will be based on voluntary subscription. “It will be based on voluntary subscription, beneficiaries on these two schemes [of National Service Personnel and Youth in Afforestation] will voluntarily come to our platform, (https://allawadropgh.com/click-to-subscribe/) to subscribe before they can receive our services”.   He added that the “subscription on our platform for now is free and we are doing it for between 60-90 days that we are running it for free and after which beneficiaries will be required to subscribe based on a certain amount of fee for operational cost”.
