The board of governors of Adisadel College has rejected the nomination of a new headmaster for the school.
According to the board, the Ghana Education Service (GES) did not consult its members, neither did the Service consult the Anglican Church for the selection of a candidate, contrary to laid-down procedure.
This comes in the wake of a tussle between the school and GES over interdicted headmaster William Kusi Yeboah.
Already, the Old Boys’ Association of the school has resolved to petition President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to have Mr Kusi Yeboa reinstated.

“The Board has decided to pursue its previous resolution to petition His Excellency the President for final determination of the case,” a statement issued by the Board Chairman, Rt Rev. Dr Victor Atta-Baffoe, on Monday said.
Mr Kusi Yeboah is said to have breached regulations of the GES leading to his interdiction.
This has been contested, however, by the board and alumni alike.
Apparently, GES had released a statement to clarify the issues.
But the board chairman stated: “The charge published in the Daily Graphic against Mr Kusi Yeboah that he ‘issued directives to de-register two of his students for the WAEC because they posed a threat to school’ is not true; rather Mr Kusi Yeboah disciplined a student who drew a knife in an attempt to stab a security personnel of the school and write to the WAEC for the student to write his WASSCE at the WAEC Examination Center.”
Meanwhile, the scheduled Speech and Prize-Giving Day will come off on Saturday, March 9.
