Accra Academy’s quest to win the National Science and Maths Quiz continues to be a Holy Grail as their attempt this year has ended at the semi-final stage.
They were beaten by two-time champions Opoku Ware School on Tuesday, October 6.
The Akatakyie beat not only a Greater Accra Region side but also a fellow Ashanti Region side, Boa Amponsem Senior High School, to become the first finalist of this year’s competition.
They garnered 55 points, as against Accra Academy’s 38 and Boa Amponsem senior high school making 22 points.
