Aspiring New Patriotic Party(NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Abuakwa North Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah has made an extraordinary promise to cover the educational expenses of the top six students who obtain single digit scores in the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in the Abuakwa North Constituency of the Eastern Region.
Dr. Boakye-Danquah views this as a way of fostering quality education within the constituency and motivating students to achieve academic excellence.
The costs to be covered by Dr. Boakye-Danquah will encompass everything outside the ambit of the Free SHS Policy, including transportation fees, expenses for the schools as well as all items on the students’ prospectus list.
This year’s BECE began on Monday, August 7 and scheduled to end Friday, August 11.
It is a significant milestone for junior high school students as it is the standard prerequisite for admission to senior high school.
Dr. Boakye-Danquah strongly believes that by investing in these talented students, he will not only provide financial assistance but empower them with the necessary resources and opportunities so that they will excel academically and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
