The report was presented on Monday, December 21, a senior official of the Commission has disclosed.
Acting Director of Public Affairs of the Commission Christian Owusu-Parry says the Commission will study the report and make a decision “as soon as practicable”.
He made this known at an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Tuesday, December 22.
The IPAC meeting agreed on 29,000 polling stations for the 2016 elections instead of the initial 30,000 due to budgetary constraints.
A statement signed by Mr Owusu-Parry after the meeting said the political parties also agreed that manual verification alongside biometric verification should be allowed during the 2016 elections.

On the voters’ register, Mr Owusu-Parry indicated that the EC is bent on making the report of the committee chaired by retired Supreme Court judge, VCRAC Crabbe, “available to the public shortly”.
The committee with Dr Grace Bediako, Reverend Professor Emmanuel Asante, Maulvi Bin Salih and Dr Nii Narku Quaynor as members moderated a two-day public forum in October to hear views from political parties and other stakeholders as regards the wayforward on the voters’ register.
The presentations at the Alisa Hotel oscillated between auditing the current register, a view strongly espoused by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and completely getting a new register, a view strongly espoused by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
