Hundreds of members of The Church of Pentecost, Kasoa Area, took over the Kasoa township, ridding it of filth as the church embarks on a nationwide project to keep Ghana clean. Saturday’s clean up exercise saw the Area Head of the Church, Apostle Ekow Badu Wood joining his colleague pastors as well as both young and old in the church to clean gutters, weed and remove hills of refuse within the community. Participants also took the opportunity to educate residents on the need to keep their environment clean. The exercise is part of a one-year project being undertaken by the Church of Pentecost dubbed “Environmental Care Campaign”. The project was launched by the Chairman of The Church of Pentecost, Apostle Eric Nyamekye at  PIWC-Kokomlele in Accra on Thursday November 22 under the slogan “My Environment, My Responsibility”.
