A taxicab driver yet to be identified died instantly after a tree fell on his car Thursday evening in Kumasi.
The incident occurred during a downpour accompanied by strong winds.
He was said to parked his car close to the trees few meters away from the Asanteman Senior High School when the tree fell on the car and trapped him inside .
His body has been recovered by passers-by and conveyed to the mortuary.
The mangled care has also been towed to the Suame Police station.
Police officers have been to the scene to investigate the incident.
