Bawumia registers at Kperiga Presby D/A School

Vice President Dr. Alhaji Mahammudu Bawumia on Friday registered in Walelwale in the North East Region as part of the ongoing registration exercise by the Electoral Commission, Ghana (EC). The Vice President got his named captured at the Kperiga Presby D/A Primary School Registration Center in Walewale, where he hails from. After fulfilling his civic responsibility, Dr Bawumia expressed satisfaction particularly with the abiding by of all covid-19 protocols by the citizens. “I have registered in Kpariga by hometown, and I’m happy that people are respecting social distancing.” The Commission started the registration exercise on Tuesday, June 30 as part of preparation towards the December 7 elections. The exercise, according to the EC, has been divided into phases due to the inadequacy of the registration kits and starts each day from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
