The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of complicity in the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited’s scandal of 2017. Launching its corruption tracker at the weekly press briefing in Accra, the Communications Officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi, said despite a committee’s report on the corruption scandal, President Akufo-Addo has refused to act on it. In 2017, a committee tasked to investigate the Movenpina-Zup oil contaminated fuel saga described the involvement of the former management of BOST in the incident as criminal.
