The Africa Prosperity Network (APN) and its Partners, including the Africa Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat, the Africa Business Council and UNDP Africa, wish to inform all stakeholders that the date for Africa Prosperity Dialogues (the Kwahu Summit) has changed from 26th -30th October, 2022 to 26th -28th January, 2023.
The change in date comes after further diplomatic consultations on the calendars of some key speakers and leaders on the African continent who are scheduled to participate in the maiden summit.
The Africa Prosperity Dialogues provide a dedicated platform for business and political leaders to think, plan and work together, with greater urgency, for the success of building the world’s largest single market of 1.3 billion people, by fast-tracking the implementation of the all-important Africa Continental Free Trade Agreement.
The two-part Summit will feature the Intra-Africa Trade Forum, a retreat for business executives and associations, senior public figures, thought leaders and technocrats, on 26th and 27th January, culminating in high level discussions between Heads of State and business leaders on Saturday, 28th January, 2023.
Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana is expected to be joined by many of his
colleagues, including Presidents of Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Kenya, Egypt, Rwanda, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire, DRC, Mozambique, and Angola.
The APN and partners extend warmest appreciation to all stakeholders who, in spite of the inconveniences caused, are willing to accommodate the changes in Summit dates.
