A former Minister of Finance, Dr Kwabena Duffuor has urged Members of Parliament to consider the interest of the people approve a budget that reflect the needs and sensitivities of the Ghanaian people.
Anything short of this, the former Governor of the Bank of Ghana said, would be a betrayal of duty.
In a tweet “In the midst of the impasse over the 2022 Budget, what Parliamentarians must remember is the people they represent. The Budget must reflect the needs and sensitivities of the Ghanaian people. Anything else would be a betrayal of duty.”
