Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Gas Company Dr. Ben Asante picked an award at the maiden edition of the Ghana Health Awards and Honours for Ghana Gas’s contributions to Ghana’s health sector.
At the Ghana Health Awards and Honours, the oil and gas expert received excellence award for the company’s contributions to Ghana’s health sector.
Ghana Gas as a company has its blue print across the nation, contributing doctors’ bungalows, nurses’ quarters, CHPS Compounds, supporting people with their health problems, renovations of hospital wards, among others, to the health sector.
The Ghana Health Awards and Honours seeks to first of all recognize and honour health professionals who have selflessly committed themselves to providing excellent healthcare services.
The other purpose of the awards is to use the funds that would be generated to support Thyroid Ghana Foundation to help play hospital bills for needy patients with thyroid diseases.
