Weekly press briefing on Covid-19 not cancelled – Dr Nsiah-Asare

The Presidential Advisor on Health, Dr Anthony Nsiah-Asare, has indicated that the bi-weekly press briefings that is organized by the Ministry of Information on the coronavirus situation in Ghana have not stopped.

He told Alfred Ocansey on 3FM’s morning show Sunrise Friday, June 12 that although he does not speak for the Information Ministry, he will assure the general public that the programme has not been abrogated.

The number of Covid-19 cases in Ghana has gone up to 10,856, the Ghana Health Service has reported.

The number of recoveries has also risen to 3,921.

However, the death toll remains 48.

This means there are 6,887 active cases being managed by the health authorities.
